Elitsa is an Associate with BOYANOV & Co., having joined in 2018. She began as a Junior Associate (2018–2020) and has been serving as an Associate since 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a Junior Associate at Karadaliev & Partners Law Office (2017–2018) and as a Legal Advisor at the Association Active Consumers (2014–2016). Elitsa has built a strong and diverse legal practice with a particular focus on employment law and dispute resolution. She is a highly experienced and passionate litigator, representing clients in complex employment disputes and handling contentious termination cases. Her advisory work includes day-to-day employment law compliance, Employee Equity Plans, labour mobility, AML compliance, and KYC procedures. In parallel with her core practice in employment, she is currently expanding her expertise in the field of energy law, focusing on photovoltaic (PV) plants, geothermal energy projects, and related licensing procedures.

Violeta Kirova

Principal Associate
BIOGRAPHY

Violeta has vast expertise in advising clients from different industry sectors on all labour law aspects of their activities, starting from general overview and advice on the Bulgaria employment legal system and its peculiarities; structuring the employment relationships within a business, drafting of the employment documentation, such as internal rules and procedures, standard agreements, specific agreements with senior staff members or management agreements, termination and mass redundancies. A material part of her work involves advising on implementation of incentive schemes and arrangements, advice on tax and social security matters, collective bargaining, labour and residence permits for expats, etc. Violeta began her career at BOYANOV & Co. in 1997 as a Trainee Attorney and progressed through the roles of Associate (2000–2006), Senior Associate (2006–2022), and currently serves as Principal Associate since 2022. She also gained early experience as a Legal Trainee at Solvay Sodi and Mobiltel in 2011. Her advice is often sought in cases of transfer of employees in the context of transfer of undertaking, termination as a result of liquidation of businesses, she is a regular member dealing with employment law issues of the firm’s teams working on major M&A deals.

Radoslav Alexandrov is a Partner at BOYANOV & Co., where he has been a key member of the team since 2006. He began his career at the firm as an Associate, heading the Sevlievo office, and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2012. Since 2019, he has served as a Partner, contributing to the firm’s continued growth and regional presence.

Prior to joining BOYANOV & Co., Radoslav worked as a Legal Adviser at a major utility company (2003–2006), gaining valuable experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He holds a law degree from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (2002) and has further specialized in U.S. law in Dallas (2011), as well as in dispute resolution at Freshfields (2016).

Deyan Terziev

Deyan Terziev is a Senior Associate with BOYANOV & Co. with more than 12 years of experience. He began his career at the firm as a Trainee Attorney (2012–2014), progressed to Junior Associate (2014–2017), then Associate (2017–2021), and has held the position of Senior Associate since 2021.

Since 2018 Deyan has been a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe with the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Deyan’s areas of specialization include: Personal Data Protection, Consumer Protection, Commercial, Employment, TMT. Deyan provides regular advice to clients on regulatory compliance matters in the field of telecom regulations, personal data protection, whistleblowing, e-identification and digital signatures, connected vehicles, cybersecurity, AI and IT. He has participated in legal due diligence analyses of mobile telecoms, IT companies, TV and radio stations. He has significant experience in carrying out extensive data protection and whistleblowing compliance projects for local subsidiaries of international clients. Deyan has also participated in all legal projects undertaken by the firm on matters related to autonomous and connected vehicles.
