BIOGRAPHY

Peter is a Partner at BOYANOV & Co., serving as Head of the Competition Practice Group and Co-Head of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group. He has been part of the firm since 1998, starting as a Trainee Attorney (1998–2001), then Associate (2001–2006), progressing to Senior Associate (2006–2008), and becoming a Partner in 2008. In 2004, Peter completed an international secondment at Allen & Overy in London, gaining valuable cross-border experience.

With over 27 years at the firm, Peter has developed extensive expertise in Bulgarian and EU regulatory and competition law, covering a broad range of industries including healthcare, media, telecommunications, securities, and general commercial law. He advises multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences companies on price regulation, reimbursement, market access, pharmaceutical law compliance, commercialization strategies, and merger control. His experience spans legislative advocacy, day-to-day regulatory support, contentious proceedings, and antitrust litigation. Peter also leads the multijurisdictional Competition Law Practice Group of SEE Legal, covering 12 Southeast European jurisdictions. He is a member of the Sofia Bar Association.

Nedyalka Novakova is a Senior Associate at BOYANOV & Co., where she has been part of the team since 2008. She began her career at the firm as a Junior Associate (2008–2014), progressed to Associate (2014–2021), and has served as a Senior Associate since 2021. Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience as a Legal Trainee at Jurex Consult AD (2007), the Administration of the Bulgarian Parliamentary Ombudsman institution (2006), and Dimitrov, Petrov & Co. Law Firm (2005–2006), as well as holding support roles at Lex.bg and Visa Travel Travel Agency.

Her practice focuses on Corporate and M&A, Immigration, Employment, and Healthcare and Life Sciences. Nedyalka advises local and international clients on a wide range of matters, from day-to-day business operations to complex transactions, offering practical legal solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Kina Chuturkova

BIOGRAPHY

After graduating law in the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (MA in Law) and obtaining certificate for practice in 1980, Kina began her judicial career as a Junior Judge at the Sofia City Court (1981–1983). She was then appointed Judge at the Sofia Regional Court, Civil Division (1984–1990), followed by a position at the Sofia City Court, serving in both Civil and Commercial Divisions (1991–1994). In 1994, Kina joined the Supreme Court of Cassation, initially in the Civil Chamber and later in the Commercial Chamber, where she served as President of the Commercial Division until 2002. In 2002 Kina left the bench, became Member of the Sofia Bar and joined BOYANOV & Co Law Firm as a Partner where she is the head of Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Parallel to that she is an arbitrator with the Court of Arbitration with the Bulgarian Industrial Association and since 2023 she is its Vice-President.
