His Hon. George Dobry, QC, CBE, Obituary
It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our good friend and professional mentor, His Honour George Dobry, QC, CBE, barrister and judge on 14 March 2018, aged 99.
His Honour George Dobry, QC, CBE was Of Counsel at BOYANOV & Co. from 2001 to 2010. Together with Mr. Borislav Boyanov, he was the founder and first director of The British Balkan Centres for English and Global Legal Studies. In 2001 Mr. Boyanov became the first non-British member of the Lord Slynn of Hadley European Law Foundation, established on the initiative of His Hon George Dobry, QC, CBE to cater to a growing need for support, advice and training to young lawyers from countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
