The Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber (IBBC) has been Officially Inaugurated in the Presence of Minister Loukarsky and H.E. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva, the Ambassador of India to Bulgaria
16 February 2016 marked the official launch of the Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber (IBBC). The ceremony, held at UniCredit International Centre in Sofia, was opened with a welcome address by Mr. Borislav Boyanov, the first IBBC Chairman.
Mr. Boyanov presented the mission and objectives of the new business organisation dedicated to develop bilateral economic relations between India and Bulgaria.
Mr. Bojidar Loukarsky, Minister of Economy, and H.E. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva, Ambassador of India to Bulgaria and Honorary Co-Chairman of IBBC, were guests of honour to the event. They welcomed the incorporation of the Chamber at a time India is actively stepping into the world markets and various business opportunities are emerging.
The huge potential of India, ranked among the four world’s fastest growing economies and first most attractive destination for investors, was shown in a presentation “Make in India”. Attendees also heard a success story of a software product made in Bulgaria and presented to the Indian government by Mr. Bill Gates.
The celebration event attended by over 90 governmental officials, leading entrepreneurs and bankers continued with a cocktail reception.
