The Indian Bulgarian Business Chamber Presented in Plovdiv the New Business Opportunities between Bulgaria and India
The development of commercial relationships, new opportunities for cooperation between companies from India and Bulgaria and successful business practices of Bulgarian companies in India have been presented during the first of its kind Business Forum in Plovdiv organized by the Indian Bulgarian Business Chamber (IBBC) and the Embassy of India on 15 June 2016.
Mr. Borislav Boyanov, the Chairman of the Indian Bulgarian Business Chamber, greeted the representatives of more than 50 companies from the region of Plovdiv participating in the forum. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the Indian economy and get answers to specific questions related to the practical aspects of the bilateral business relations between India and Bulgaria.
Official guests to the event were the Ambassador of India to Bulgaria and Honorary Co-Chairman of IBBC, H.E. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sachdeva, and the Mayor of Plovdiv, Mr. Ivan Totev.
Plovdiv’s region is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing regions in Bulgaria and over the last years has attracted many foreign companies with export-oriented production, it also has the largest logistics centers and industrial parks in the country. With excellent transport infrastructure – highways, railways and a modernized international airport to support the process of industrialization, and its strategic location, the region has become a preferred destination for foreign investments.
